Payment Plan: Registration/Tryout plan payment dates are set for June 15(or date of registration),

                     July 15 and Aug 15.

                     All registration fees and tryout fees are due in full by August 15

Family Discount: Families with 3 players registering will receive 50% off the 3rd player's

                     registration

                     and Families with 4 players registering will receive 75% off the fourth player's

                     registration. 

                     The discount applies only to the Basic Registration, and does not apply to tryout fees,

                     late fees or rep/atom dev. fees.

REFUND POLICY:  Refunds will be given up to December 31st, pro-rated less a $50.00

                     administration fee. 

                     No refunds will be given to suspended players.

NSF CHEQUES:  There will be a $25.00 charge for NSF cheques.

 

Early Bird Registration for Returning players will open on June 15th, 2019 and ends on July 15th, 2019

Returning players who do not register by July 15, 2019 are not guaranteed a spot.

We anticipate all divisions will be at capacity and recommend registering as soon as registration opens

Any outstanding fees must be covered in full prior to registration for 2019/2020

Registration for New and Transferring players will open on July 16th pending available space

Initiation and Novice Divisions fill up quickly

Registration closes August 15th. This includes registration for Rep and Atom Dev tryouts

All registration and tryout fees are due in full by August 15th

How to Register Returning Players for 2019/2020

This season we will be using TeamSnap for Registration

1. Find your Hockey Canada ID

   a.  use this link to login to your Hockey Canada account
        https://registration.hockeycanada.ca/registration/?ID=158

        If you have not previously registered online using this system, you will need to create an account

       (This will apply to players who were new to hockey last season)

   b. Click on "order history"

   c.  Scroll down and click on "print receipt" for any invoice

   d.  When the receipt opens, the player's HCR ID is located under "order items" to the right of

        the player's name and Year of Birth

   e. Exit your Hockey Canada account

2. Register for the 2019/2020 hockey season using TeamSnap

    a. use this link to register with TeamSnap

    b. If you do not have a TeamSnap account, you will need to create one

    c. be sure the name of the participant is the player's name

    d. Be sure to select a division to register in

    e. Payment

         Choose to pay through Team Snap using your credit card or "pay offline"

           i) Credit card payment can be made on the Team Snap website in full or in installments

               Payment dates are June 15 ( or date of registration), July 15 and Aug 15

               Click the "installment" button below the payment options and the payment dates will appear

          ii) "Pay offline" means you will pay by cash, chq or etransfer

               Send etransfers to westkelownaminorhockey@shaw.ca, password: hockey

              The payment plan option exists if you pay offline as well

               Payment dates are June 15 (or date of registration), July 15 and Aug 15

RESPECT IN SPORT FOR PARENTS- Mandatory Course

WKMHA requires that one parent of each player take the Respect in Sport Course

Parents should wait for their player to be registered in the Hockey Canada Registry before they take the course.

The course will show up on your player's Hockey Canada profile once completed

The course does not expire

The fee to take the course is approx $12

Non Parent Paid Head Coach Fees for Rep Teams 2019/2020

For the 2019/2020 Season, WKMHA will hire Non Parent Paid Coaches for Midget Tier 2, Bantam Tier 2 and Peewee Tier 2

All Players rostered to the Midget Tier 2, Bantam Tier 2 and Peewee Tier 2 teams will pay $100 per month (dated October 1-March 1) to WKMHA to cover this expense (total of $600 per player for the season)

Monthly payments will be collected prior to players being added to the team roster 

Monthly payments can be made through Team Snap, etransfer, chq or cash

Default of payment:

There is a $25 fee for NSF accounts. In the event that fees and charges are not covered within 7 days of notification, the player will be removed from the roster and withheld from participating with the team in any capacity, on and off the ice

In addition, teams will cover the cost of the coach's hotel room when attending tournaments if they are not able to get a complimentary room for them. All other expenses will be paid by the coach unless agreed upon by the team

***Please note that the office is closed from May 31st- July 14th 2019 due to CWK building maintenance. You can reach the administrator by email. Any registration, copies of required documents and payments can be left in the WKMHA drop box outside the arena doors near the Jim Lind round about. This box is checked each weekday***
