How to register
U5 Program
Returning this season WKMHA will run a U5 Program. This program will have 20 skates starting September 30th and ending February 24th.
Schedule is as follows : Wednesdays 7:05am - 8:00am at the WKHC ( 6 - 1322 Stevens Road, West Kelowna) .
All players will be new to WKMHA and will need to please visit the New and Transferring Players Page on our website.
Co-ed Recreation Teams ( U7 -U18 )
All Returning players who are registering for WKMHA for Recreation please use the "Click Here to Register Button" to Register your child within WKMHA. Any New or transferring players, please visit the New and Transferring Players Page on our website.
Female Recreation Teams ( U9/ U11/ U13/ U15 )
WKMHA is planned to execute 3 Recreation Female teams for the 2026-2027 season. U9 Female, U11 Female and U13 Female. We will allow for U15 registration to see if there is any interest in this age.
U9 Female will play against co-ed teams. U11 Female and U13 Female will play within the OMAHA Female Recreation League.
WKMHA has just launched a U15 recreation registration to see interest for this age group. Please register as soon as you are able to see if we can have interest within WKMHA for next season.

U11 Development
All players who want to try out for U11 Development will register through WKMHA. Select " U11 Player or U11 Goalie" in the registration process and there you will pay for base fees. Tryout Fee is at an additional cost. Please register for that seperately under Tryouts and then U11 Dev.
U11 Female Development
All players who want to try out for U11 Female Development will register through WKMHA. Select " Female" and then " U11 Player or U11 Goalie" in the registration process and there you will pay base fees. Tryout fee is at an additional cost. Please register for that seperatly under Tryouts then U11 Female Dev. This team will be a shared team with all South Zone teams ( West Kelowna, Summerland, Penticton and South Ok). The schedule will be balanced between the shared Associations with the main practices shared out of West Kelowna and Penticton.
U13 Female A
All players who want to tryout for the U13 Female A will register through Penticton Minor Hockey. https://www.pentictonminorhockey.com/registration
Players from WKMHA will have to complete a "Permission to Tryout Form" signed by WKMHA and send to PMHA. Please email executivedirector@westkelownaminorhockey.com .
Please note in order to hold a spot for WKMHA in the event you are released you must still register with WKMHA. Details in Recreation or T2/T3/T4 sections.
U13 Tier 1
All players who want to try out for the U13 Tier 1 zone team will sign up with the host Association PMHA. Please watch their website for information: https://www.pentictonminorhockey.com/registration
Any WKMHA player signing up for U13 Tier 1 tryouts must get the "Permission to Tryout Form" signed by WKMHA and send to PMHA. Please email executivedirector@westkelownaminorhockey.com. Please note you will also need to sign up for U13 Tier 2,3,4 in the event you are released. Details in next section.

This is a separate tryout from the Tier 1 zone tryout with a separate try out fee required. To be included in the Upper South Zone U13 Tier 2,3,4 tryouts you must register for these tryouts through WKMHA
- You must register through WKMHA and select U13 . This will be your Base Fee. This is for WKMHA players only.
2. Any player in Upper South Zone ( WK and Summerland ) wanting to try for Tier teams will register for tryouts seperately under Tryouts and then pick the appropriate age.
3. WKMHA will be hosting U13 T2 and T3. Summerland Minor Hockey will be hosting U13 T4.
U15 Tier 2 & 3
To be included in the Upper South Zone U15 Tier 2 & 4 tryouts, you must register for these tryouts through WKMHA.

U18 Tier 2 & 3

All fees will be paid directly to OMAHA. To register for the tryouts please go to the Zone Registration page on the OMAHA website : https://omahahockey.ca/
