The WKMHA AGM will take place on Wednesday, May 26th at 700pm
This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be using Zoom for our meeting platform
Our Association is built upon volunteers and relies on volunteers to provide a safe and fun hockey experience for our kids. There are also numerous benefits to volunteering, both personally and professionally. Please consider taking on an executive board role with WKMHA, as these positions need to be filled for hockey to happen in the fall 2021.
There are four WKMHA Executive positions up for election. Each is a 2 year term. We are accepting nominations for all of the following positions (Job descriptions are attached)
President- 2 year term
2nd VP- 2 year term
Treasurer- 1 year of a 2 year term
Director of Divisions (U7,U9, U11) – 2 year term
Director of Divisions (U13, U15, U18) – 2 year term
Please note, as per WKMHA Bylaws, “A nomination from the floor shall not be accepted for the office of President or 1st Vice-President for a person who has not served on the Executive Counsel for at least one of the previous five years prior to his nomination.” Nominations for the position of President should be made prior to the AGM.
All members in good standing are eligible to vote at the AGM. Good standing requires that any fees for the 2020/2021 season be paid in full and the completion of the Respect in Sport Course for Parents.
